Pixel 6a : Google's budget phone will still cost $449/AU$749, and will feature the Tensor chip in the Pixel 6. Instead, the more eye-catching parts of the Google I/O keynote centered around new Pixel products.

For an event that tends to focus on software, the Google I/O keynote yesterday (May 11) wound up featuring a whole lot of hardware news, though we're in for a bit of a wait before any of the new products arrive.Īs you would expect from an opening keynote at a developers conference, Google did spend some time talking about Android 13, though most of the information shared has been known since the public beta of the software update became available.
